Installations
We can offer you a number of installation services:
Flood wiring
Work areas should be served by at least two outlets (data and voice Cat 5E) for every 10 sq m of floor space. This allows maximum use of space and ensures that if workstations are moved they are always able to connect to an outlet.
Data and voice
There should be at least one data and voice outlet to 10 sq m of work area. The arrangement used is generic and not specific to any one manufacturer.
Clean lines
Power supplies to servers, LANs and PCs need to be installed to ensure the voltage is constant and free from interference.
Display screen lighting requirements
There are various requirements for areas where visual display terminals are used. It is your responsibility to ensure the correct design and lighting is used. However, in most cases arranging workstations to existing lighting is all that’s needed.
Electrical installations/Other services
We can arrange a wide range of other services including:
- Installations - new builds, refits, upgrades and additions.
- Lighting - ambient, feature, flood, display, office/workshop and category 2 lighting design.
- Health & Safety audits and inspections.
- Periodic tests and inspections for compliance with the Health & Safety and Electricity at Work Acts.
