PC Application Software (Programmes)

Programmes are installed after the OS and are often available as a suite of programmes such as Microsoft™ Office™ and Adobe™. The suites comprise different programmes depending on the versions you buy. (Basic or Small Business and Professional versions of Microsoft™ Office™ are available.)

Some computer workstations have software pre-installed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) such as Microsoft™ Office™. Remember, this is a cost-effective way of licensing but the license only lasts as long as the computer.

Upgrade options are available for many software programmes providing previously licensed versions are owned.
