Given the chaos and uncertainty the threat of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) has thrown upon us, we’d like to inform you of the preparations Newman have made to maintain business continuity. We would also like to reassure you that we are working hard to protect our staff, customers, suppliers and business.
A number of our staff already work from home, so it has been a relatively seamless operation to extend this to other members of our team causing no impact to service levels.
Where a physical site visit is required, all our field engineers have been provided with protective gloves, alcohol-based wipes, cleaning agents and hand sanitisers to protect the safety of both our staff and clients. All working surfaces are wiped down by our technicians before and after work commences to protect all parties. The same working standards are observed by our internal staff who continue to process orders and organise distribution of products in the same way as normal.
Naturally, face to face contact has been minimised, so we have introduced digital-based experiences to maintain client engagement and maintain the level and quality of service Newman clients are familiar with.
